High Coast Invest is strengthening its mission to attract international businesses to Västernorrland. Magnus Viström steps into the role of Business Area Manager, bringing extensive experience in business development and industrial innovation.

Magnus Viström has a solid background in innovation and business development. In previous roles, including as Head of Innovation at SCA, he was responsible for developing and implementing innovations within areas such as the packaging industry and digitalization. He has also been involved with BizMaker in the past, serving on its board and working with the Forest Business Accelerator program.
His career has been characterized by a strong focus on driving innovation and development in the business sector.
– What attracted me to the role as Head of High Coast Invest is the opportunity to foster business development through new investments that contribute to the green transition and strengthen the region’s innovation capacity. I have followed BizMaker’s development for a long time, and it’s fantastic to now have the chance to actively contribute to the region’s continued growth in this role, says Magnus Viström.
